About us

Sisters-in-law & in business

Sue and Cindy are two strong, hard-working and kind-hearted, over 60, out of shape, (and sometimes out of mind!) women in business. They are sisters-in-law and the best of friends who many know and love from the fruit stand out front of Kistlercrest Farms.

  • After over 30 years working the front yard fruit stand together, raising their now-grown kids, and currently enjoying a gaggle of grandkids, they have some spare time, some big ideas, and they have officially outgrown the yard! (Retirement? What’s that?!)

Many years of cold and unpredictable weather, multiple wind-ravaged canopies, rain, snow, heat (you name it!), Sue and Cindy are so proud and excited to now have a roof over their heads, a legitimate parking lot, and more space to provide more options to you, no matter the weather!

Many memories and meaningful connections were made through the original fruit stand and they couldn’t have asked for better customers to share their growing pains with. They are proud to open a new chapter in Kistlercrest history where customers can enjoy the same down-to-earth experience with MORE locally grown produce and locally made goods just next door at The Roadside.
